I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, and finally stopped by on a Saturday night. We ordered the small Beef Combo with boneless short rib (YUM!) and cheese corn. The egg custard and kimchi stew were included in the combo. Banchan were enjoyable and refillable. All the meats in the combo were great, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. The meal came out to be ~$150 (not counting tip) so it definitely was a pricier meal for two. Reservation highly recommended.

The restaurant was spacious and has very good ventilation. The bbq smell didn’t stuck to my clothing. Service was excellent. They refilled the side dishes very promptly. Made good recommendations. We got the small beef combo with wagyu. The meat quality was excellent. We requested the waiter to cook the meat to medium instead of well done. If you don’t have a preference, the waiter will cook the meat to well done. So stated your preference. The wagyu was so tender and melted in the mouth. The combo was a good introduction to different cuts of meat. If you have a preference on the cuts of meat, don’t order the combo. The individual order of meat is more expensive but also a bigger portion compared to the combo. We had a great meal!

We had a great dinner and experience dining at Ahgassi where we enjoyed that the staff grill your meats to ensure proper cooking techniques. The Japanese A5 Wagyu is a must and reasonably prices at $75 for 6 pieces. Reservations are recommended.

We had such an amazing time at Ahgassi Gopchang! We ordered the beef combo and everything was grilled to absolute perfection so flavorful and tender It was also my first time trying steamed egg, and we were so pleasantly surprised, it was light, fluffy, and delicious! The stew was also super comforting and full of flavor. Huge shoutout to our server Sedrick; he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. He really elevated the experience for us! If you’re looking for high-quality Korean BBQ in NYC with great service and expertly grilled meats, this is the place

I went to this place for a late lunch, 2:20pm. It's a nice bright restaurant. We ordered the beef large intestines and offal stir fry. As always, lots of banchan. Everything was very good. I like a place that doesn't overcook vegetables. Theirs still had a nice crunch. They cooked the intestines for us on the grill. Nicely charred. A testament to good food is clean plates. The only thing remaining was some of the sauces. I would definitely return if I was in the area again.

The place is really pretty and the food was really good. The severs are very nice and attentive. My sister dropped her chopsticks and got a stain on her jeans but they immediately came over with new chopsticks and a tide pen. Our server was Woo, very good job.
